Magazines Absolutely Worth the Cost of Subscription

These are magazines I'll literally spend hours reading, where most magazines I'll flip through in 15-20 minutes.
I UNCONDITIONALLY recommend each of them if the topic interests you.
National Geographic, all the way. Marvelous magazine. It's a rare issue that I don't read cover-to-cover.
I'd say (so far) the Economist, but I haven't had a subscription for very long.
A marvelously informative magazine, but dry as a bone. Anybody that can read The Economist cover-to-cover has my admiration.
Oddly I haven't had so much of a problem with that. (Quite a few of the issues I've read were straight through on airplanes). I like the fact tht they don't assume you're a moron. I've actually had to write down stuff (and people) to go look up later since I didn't catch the reference.
